Ian Henderson

Ian Henderson
Managing Trustee

Ian is the Founder and Managing Director of Superior Homes, which finances the work done by the Superior Homes Foundation.

From humble beginnings driving vans in his native Glasgow, Ian built up a successful international haulage business before being commissioned by Non-Governmental Organisations and United Nations to work in some of the most challenging environments on earth.

During this time, Ian became renowned as a specialist in humanitarian logistics and repatriation.

In recent years, Ian has returned to his entrepreneurial roots, building a property portfolio across Scotland and Kenya. It is through Ian’s time in Kenya and, after witnessing the challenge that schoolgirls face with period poverty, he set up the Superior Homes Foundation to provide support to schoolgirls in Superior Homes project areas.
